In 1992, about a year after I returned from the Gulf War, I began having all sorts of unexplained physical problems.  It  started with a painful rash and hard blisters which developed on the bottoms and insoles of both feet.  The blisters on my feet became progressively more painful over time until it was almost unbearable to even walk.  My body ached all over and I experienced frequent fevers accompanied by chills.   I was tired all the time and it soon became very obvious to me that I had  some very serious medical issues.   I was eventually  diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue, Immune Dysfunction and Gulf War Syndrome.  I lived in constant severe pain for several years.  I found it difficult to focus on anything mentally other than pain control.  I also began to feel that my life was completely useless and I developed a very strong awareness that I was literally dying.

It is now believed that the many physical problems that I and many other Gulf War veterans have experienced is directly related to the large amount of toxins and chemicals we were exposed to in and around all the burning oil wells in Kuwait.   In addition to the heavy oil well smoke, I was also exposed to depleted uranium, large amounts of pesticides and of course the mysterious Vaccines A & B that all front line troops were forced to take.  Each of these environmental toxins contributed significantly to my rapidly declining health. 

   After several years of unsuccessful treatments by numerous medical doctors using all sorts of traditional  pharmaceutical drugs and conventional medical understanding, I decided enough is enough!   I knew my body better than my doctors or anyone so I decided to "take charge of my own health".   I was on a mission to reclaim my health and wellness.  This burning desire to heal myself has led me on a most interesting journey of discovery and understanding.
